I would like to start off by saying that looking for a home could be quite stressful. However we had a magnificent Realtor . I would recommend Vanessa Hopman to anyone. Vanessa is a caring individual, who will look after your needs. My husband and I would have given up if not for Vanessa. Vanessa explained everything to us how the market was. What areas were good and what areas to stay away from. And thanks to Vanessa my husband and I found our lovely home in Oshawa. So look for Vanessa Hopman / Keller Williams Realestate

We have purchased and sold 11 properties, dealt with 6 real estate companies and worked with 6 different listing agents,always feeling slighted for the commission fee, so after our last sale we decided that the next time we were listing a house that we would interview for the listing  agent position, when we decided to list our waterfront property we started our hunt for the perfect agent and Company, and in fact we were so impressed with Vanessa and Keller Williams we looked no further, we contacted Vanessa through her website, received a call back that evening and an appoinment was set up for the interview, Vanessa arrived with a full presentation on both herself and Keller Williams, she took the time to go through a power point presentation explaining in detail what we could expect from herself and the office of Keller Williams, we were very impressed and that was when we decided to look no further. We called Vanessa to set up a time for her to list our property and at the same time Vanessa arranged with a stager to view our property and provide us with some pointers. Vanessa arrived with her photographer Sean, (aka her husband), Vanessa proceeded with the listing details while Sean took the perfect photos of our property. As promised Vanessa kept us updated through the whole process, even though the process didn't last long. The sign say's sold in 7 days when in fact if you minus the listing day and the offer day, our property was actually sold in 5 days. I am Happy to say that we have finally found the PERFECT Agent & Company...Thank you soooo much Vanessa for everything

This is a reference letter for Vanessa Hopman, Sales Representative for Keller Williams Energy Real Estate, Brokerage.

We highly recommend Vanessa as a real estate agent. My husband and I have be trying to sell our home just north of Cobourg, Ontario for the past 2 years. We had our home listed with another well-known real estate company under two different agents from October 2009 to December 2011. There were lots of showings, and several open houses, which generated three offers. Because the offers were conditional upon sale of the buyers' homes, nothing transpired; even though most comments about the home were very positive.
Vanessa, on the other hand, sold our home in only 22 days. Before she even met with us in January 2012 to discuss listing our home, she prepared a data sheet listing the following:
     -All schools in the area from daycare to high school with school contact names and
     numbers, time of school openings, times for drop-off and pick-up of students.
     -Local shopping facilities
     -Local entertainment and recreation facilities
     -Local tourist attractions
     -Local municipal contacts

We were very impressed with her proactive efforts. Vanessa also used a home staging consultant, Deborah Brock, who recommended inexpensive ideas to maximize the effect of the home's quality design ie. the view, the spaciousness and custom built features.

After the first week, we received an itemized report of everything that Vanessa had done with feedback from each viewing that had taken place and from open house attendees.

We found Vanessa very professional, ambitious, knowledgeable and friendly. We were very pleased with her results. She certainly lives up to her motto:  "Giving you my 110%, 100% of the time".

I don’t recall looking at real estate listings through Keller Williams’ website, so I was surprised to hear directly from Vanessa about a home that had just come up matching my criteria. She told me she’d previewed the home, and knew it showed well. After long thinking that agents had easy jobs, earning way too much money for their automated listings, I was impressed to proactively hear from someone for the very first time, and that she’d even gone to the effort of previewing a home. This already seemed well above and beyond other realtors I’d worked with, and we’d never even met yet!

So, I went with Vanessa to see that home, and several more in the coming months. From that first meeting on, Vanessa asked what our dream home would look like, so she could watch for it. True to her word, Vanessa proactively sent ONLY the area listings that met our criteria (not just # of rooms and $), going out with my husband and I several times while searching. With each viewing, she made it her mission to learn more specifically about what would be OUR home and got more and more targeted with the homes she passed along.  

With patience, perseverance and professionalism, Vanessa found us the perfect house. In fact, she searched homes outside of our described criteria, as she got to know our tastes – and it was one of those houses that ended up being our home. We love it, and never would have found it without her!

 Vanessa was invaluable at the process of buying, and then listing our previous home, and continues to keep in touch months later to see how we’re enjoying it. I tell all my friends and family about her, and I’m now happy to say that realtors like Vanessa most certainly earn their commission, and then some!
